A $75 (non-refundable) per student/ per class deposit is required to register and goes towards the full cost of each weekly camp tuition. The deposit holds your spot in the class. The remaining balance due will be charged 30 days prior to start of your weekly camp.** We offer a 10% Sibling Discount towards the full tuition. Each camper gets a free Hands Create T-Shirt that they tie-dye the first day of camp!

Experienced art educators will guide young artists through completing unique, fine art masterpieces inspired by the study of famous artists and art cultures. Various 2-D and 3-D art mediums will be explored each camp week, including clay, printmaking, paint, fiber arts, paper mache, and more. This camp includes a morning snack-size Nautical bowl on Fun-Friday. Campers should bring a snack, a lunch and a water.

Colorful ‘MINI’ Fine Art Camp!
Date: June 24-28 (5 Day/2 Hrs)

This 2-hour “mini” camp is perfect for the young, budding artist in the family who wants to try out what summer camp is all about! Emphasis will be placed on art media and techniques appropriate for novice artists with small hands such as collage, tempera painting, drawing, sculpture and art history. Music and movement activities will enhance the creative process! A snack of goldfish or fruit snack is included each day.

Tuition for the week is $255 ($75 deposit/$180 balance charged May 24th)

Draw & Sculpt Art Camp for Teens!
Date: July 15-18 (M-Th)
Time: 12:30pm – 4:30pm (4 Day/4 Hrs)

This intensive fine art camp is for experienced teen artists looking for a fun, challenging four days of drawing and sculpture. Campers will create masterpieces with a variety of 2-dimensional drawing techniques and then transform them into 3-dimensional sculptures based on the artwork of famous artists Alexander Calder, Alberto Giacometti, Andy Warhol, and Jean Dubuffet. Fine art experience is highly recommended. This camp includes all supplies and a snack-size Nautical bowl on Thursday. This camp runs Monday – Thursday to help accommodate vacationers looking for an early start to a long weekend.

Rising 7st-12th grade – Tuition for the week is $305 ($75 deposit/$230 balance charged June 15th)

Campers will experience sparks of creative joy at Hands Create Fine Arts Studio. Seasoned art educators will guide young artists through the completion of unique 2D and 3D art masterpieces inspired by the study of famous artists and art cultures. Campers will be based from Charlotte Latin campus and transported via bus to Hands Create and back to CLS. Throughout the day, campers will be supervised by a staff member before returning to campus for lunch or pick-up. All art materials are included.

Morning OR Afternoon camp available, OR make it a fun FULL DAY OF CAMP by registering for the Supervised Lunch Break at CLS plus an alternate AM/PM camp on the Charlotte Latin campus. Transportation to and from CLS to Hands Create is provided by CLS.

FAQ

When do I pay?

Select the desired class for the specific week of camp and pay the $75 (non-refundable) deposit. The remaining balance of tuition per weekly classes will be processed 30 days before the start of class. The $75 (non-refundable) deposit per student/per class holds your spot in the class and helps cover the costs of supplies. As always we also provide a 10% Sibling discount for the remaining tuition costs. Contact Hands Create if you have any questions about registering.

What does the Enrollment/Supply fee cover?

The non-refundable $75 deposit covers the admin costs for the summer session and to hold your spot in the class. This fee also helps Hands Create purchase the supplies needed to have a full range of quality multi-media projects for each student. This fee is applied per student/per class. As always we also provide a 10% Sibling discount for the remaining tuition costs.

What if I miss a class?

No make-ups for missed classes.

How many student in a class?

Class sizes are limited to 24 students.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Walk-ins will be accommodated based on availability, as long as you sign up for weekly camp.

What is your refund policy?

Your tuition fee will be processed 30 days prior to start of the class. A full refund is given if you cancel in writing 30 days before the start of class (minus deposit). Half the cost of tuition will be refunded if notified 29-14 days before the start of class. No refunds will be given less than 2 weeks before the start of class. Hands Create will work with you to find an alternate time/week, if space is available.
